What a cool date today, it inspired me to finally write a post that is long overdue! I was working on a bunch of birthday party invites for Gaggles N Giggles last week. Here are 2 of their newest designs! One is for a “Rock Star Party” the other is for a “Spa Party”
We had a beautiful (hot) weekend at the cabin. Saturday we drove to a fish hatchery in NY to get some minnows, bass and grass eating carp for the pond. We had to get a permit for the carp and were allowed 2 for our pond. We hope they eat all the algae we have for them and can swim in a clear pond this summer. Lexie and I wadded in the muck this weekend. It was just too hot not to get in the water. She had fun looking at tad poles, finding worms in the bulbs we dug up and even kissed a toad that we found living under our porch. So now it’s back to reality. Here is what is on my plate for this week…..

So if you are wondering what type of birthday invitation and invitation designer does for their own child here it is… I had Jen take pictures for the main images and then I flipped through my iphotos and found a couple others I liked to put in the film strip kinda like she was looking back at her 2nd year. The back side was a picture Jen took of her holding a canvas she made with her friends, but I erased all the hand prints and used it as a place to write more info about the party being hosted by Rasheeda of Gaggles & Giggles. I am SO excited to see what she has planned for tomorrow!
