Happy 3rd Birthday Lexie!
Tuesday, April 7th, 2009Yesterday was my baby’s birthday, my baby is now 3 so I guess she is not much of a baby, perhaps I need one now. My friend Carrie, has a business where she rents (and sells) lawn signs for any occasion. I knew her fairy one would be perfect for Lexie’s Fairy & Pirate Party. Since I thought lexie had dance class yesterday… dumb me did look at the schedule she did not… I made cupcakes (& icing from scratch) for all the girls. I also made little “3″ and “L” stickers that I sandwiched on a toothpick and inserted into the icing to make them more festive and put them in these little clear to-go boxes, tied ribbons around them and put a sticker on them. Now they are in my freezer until next monday. Hopefully they make it back to class & me and lexie don’t eat them all before them. She loves icing as much as me!
