PA Women’s Show
Friday, May 1st, 2009My friend Colette and I headed over with our girls today to check out the first ever PA Women’s Show at the Farm Show Complex. I made 2 purchases a tupperware salad dressing shaker (which I’ve been wanting ever since I started making dressing from scratch when I was on the SoBe diet) and the other was my “barbie hair”.

I love having long hair but I can just not get it to grow long enough and all I ever do is get it trimmed. I’ve been wanting Jessica Simpson hair extensions for a long time so when I stumbled across a “hair booth” I was curious and they sat me down and gave me some long hair. What impressed me was how much it matched my current hair color (which I think is close to my natural color I’ve been trying to go back to after 13 years of highlighting/lowlighting). Anyway, Colette told me I did not look like Peg Bundy (ah looking back at this picture she took I have to disagree) so I got it. I’ve managed to figure out how to make it look more natural (and less jersey-girlish) on my head but haven’t ventured out in public with it just yet. While I was getting my hair the girls were belly dancing, they were too cute and had so much fun.

We found a cool booth called the Glitter Bar. Here is Colette getting her glitter on. You can buy online from the website but the actual store is in Harrisburg by the East Mall in Eye Biz European Eyeware. The owner who designs the glasses came up with the concept & recipe for the eye glitter!
